Retreats

I want to hold, teach at, help with and also be a participant in empowering and transformative retreats at gorgeous places around the world! In my 20s I was part of a very transformative retreat center called Diana's Grove.  It was a goddess and nature centered retreat complex that changed me so profoundly that even today I   just now realize the wisdom I gained from being part of such a sisterhood.
There are so many amazing places that already have retreat facilities built in too.
This feeds into my desire to travel more and see more of the world. I love journeys. I love helping facilitate and hold space for others on their journeys. 

A Permanent Headquarters for Dandelion Moon

 The picture of the wood floors is from The Movement Studio in Durham, NC near Lakewood.  The picture is right before I taught one night and I had just set up the candles all around for Candlelight Yin. It was just the right vibe.  I am wanting a space like it for Dandelion Moon's home base that is not in the front room of my house, my back garden or 6 different yoga studios.  Right now, Dandelion Moon Studio is nomadic. With the addition of being a massage therapist,  I want a home base.

Gardens, Flowers, Herbalism

My dreams are full of flowers.  I grew up around gardens and flowers. My maternal grandmother,  born the same day 44 years ahead of me,  was a master gardener.  A large portion of my childhood was spent in her garden, helping and observing.  No matter what was going on in my life,  there was always the Earth,  the gentle rhythms of the garden and the buzz of bees.
I have a large ever evolving pollinator garden that feeds into my desire to nourish the soil and pollinator ecosystems the best way I can.  Any headquarters of Dandelion Moon has to have space so that I can have pollinator and butterfly garden there, no matter how small.
I love learning about plants and their medicinal and aromatic properties. 

Community

My best friend and sometimes co-teacher Ash and I began years ago wanting to continue the sisterhood of Diana's Grove.  We finally felt we were ready for the task of helping others and ourselves find the call of  our Truest Selves and how to listen to them.  We want to continue the work the matriarchs of the Grove started.  Our desire is to help build a more compassionate and kinder future in any way we can.  Ash has started her own band of priestesses that I am a part of too.  You can find Ash here. She's pretty amazing and constantly inspires me. :)
